| Short Statement: |
The International Accountability Project (IAP) challenges destructive development projects that uproot and impoverish millions of people across the Global South. Working with grassroots and international partners, IAP advocates for international policies that respect the rights and livelihoods of people threatened by forced displacement and resettlement.
To ensure structural commitments that respect human rights and the environment, IAP works to influence international policy, including at the international financial institutions (IFIs); provides strategic, analytical and other campaign support to communities and organizations in the Global South; produces original research and education resources; and mobilizes art and media to amplify the voices of communities affected by development projects. |
