President and founder of Social Assessment LLC, specialized in resettlement action plan preparation and displacement research. Expert for the Independent Recourse Mechanism of EBRD. Board Member for several firms. Panel member for Tangguh LNG project induced displacement in Papua. Prior to 2001, manager in two regions on social development in the World Bank. Long number of years of UN and academic experience dealing with international labor migration, displacement and resettlement. Responsible for preparation of RAP for Turkey and Georgia segments of BTC oil pipeline project. RAP prepared for WAGP. Evaluator of the Ilisu dam RAP. Studies for the Keban dam’s resettlement planning. RAP supervisor for Berke, Tahtali and Kayraktepe dams. Supervise preparation of resettlement action plans for a large number of transport projects including in Nepal, Jordan, Kenya, Mozambique (1980-1999). Creating skills for displacement planning among World Bank staff and clients in many countries. |

Executive director of Rural and Urban Development Foundation (Turkey) specialized in land acquisition and resettlement research and evaluation.
